Kade & Uncle Dallas

There are several people in Kade's life that just make him light up when they enter the room. Uncle Dallas is one of those people. The first several months of Kade's life Dallas was fairly unimpressed. However, now that he's become his own little person Dallas loves spending time with him.

Baby's First Easter (March 23, 2008)

I suppose that Kade's first Easter was pretty uneventful. If it wasn't for his Mom then he probably wouldn't have even had gifts from the Easter Bunny. Dad is way too practical ("He won't even remember it")! After hunting eggs at Nana and Papa Wigintons with his cousins he proceeded to try and eat his plastic eggs and throw them all over the place.

Bath Time...Yeah!!!

Kade loves to take a bath. Last week we took the "baby bathtub" out of the big tub and let him have free reign. He thinks he's so big and crawls back and forth from one end to the other. He loves pulling his little bathtime animals off the shelf and kissing his reflection in the safety drain underneath the faucet.

11 Months Birthday

We were a little late with the 11 month picture. Kade stayed with his grandparents while Mom and Dad went skiing with the college kids. After taking the posed pictures Kade decided to wrestle with his cow.

10 Months Birthday

Time sure flies when you are having so much fun and staying busy with a 10 month old.

9 Months Birthday

What a handsome little guy! We are so blessed to have a happy, healthy 9 month old.

The Love of Paper

Kade has discovered that he really likes paper especially magazine pages. He has his own magazine that he "reads" and proudly rips up as you can see.

MiMi

We went to Amarillo for a wedding and to visit Faye. Kade was great and we really enjoyed our visit. Here he spends a little time thanking MiMi for her hospitality and great food at Danny's restaurant.

Haas Christmas

The biggest hit...a box. Kade had the best time riding in this box. Thanks to Kirbi pulling him around the living room, he laughed and laughed.

Due to a large family we have a few more Christmas gatherings than most...

Grandad's Hat

Kade is fascinated by hats and has now decided that he likes to try them on and of course Grandad is happy to let him do pretty much what makes him happy. Kade and Grandad appear to be having quite a funny conversation. Kade thinks Grandad is pretty special. I am pretty sure the feeling is mutual.

First Christmas Card

7 Months Birthday
